Guanyun takes its name from Guanhe River in the south and Yuntaishan Mountain in the north. It boasts a number of core strategic resources including a 39 km long coastline, 420,000 Chinese mu of seaside wetlands and the Yanweigang Port, the only port in Jiangsu available for combined sea-river transportation. Dayishan Mountain is situated in Guanyun, which is the No. 1 Sacred Mountain in the Huaibei region. Guanyun has obtained titles including one of the Top 100 medium and small cities with the best potential of investment, and the state-level ecological demonstration zone. It is known as the Rotary Cultivator Capital of China, as well as China’s Capital of Doudan (a local delicacy).
