Recently, the Department of Free Trade of the China General Administration of Customs replied to Nanjing Customs, agreeing to the innovative measures of "'bonded + export' cargo container mix of Sino-European trains" recorded by Nanjing Customs in the pilot Free Trade Zone, marking that the business model of 'bonded + export' mix in the port block of Lianyungang Area of China (Jiangsu) Pilot Free Trade Zone was officially recognized by the General Administration of customs.

On October 28, 2019, Lianyungang Sino-Kazakhstan Logistics Base first tried the new mode of "bonded + export" mixed business and also started the innovation and exploration of customs supervision system in Lianyungang Area of the pilot free trade zone. During the trial operation of the new mode, it not only effectively meets the needs of customers for small commodity transit and export to Central Asia, but also further improves the utilization rate of containers and reduces the transportation cost, which is welcomed by enterprise customers. With the official reply of the General Administration of Customs to this innovative measure, it will further inject more development momentum into the "bonded + export" freight container mixed business of Sino-European Railway Express of Lianyungang. It will also stimulate more innovative measures in the port area to maximize the promotion of port trade liberalization.
