Yesterday, it was learned from Lianyungang Port that by November 16, Lianyungang China-Europe (China-Central Asia) Freight Trains had operated a total of 820 trains, representing a year-on-year increase of 14.4%. This achievement marks the completion of the annual operation tasks ahead of schedule, with the volume of transportation ranking first in the province. Throughout the year, Lianyungang China-Europe (China-Central Asia) Freight Trains have fully leveraged the advantages of Lianyungang's New Eurasian Land-Sea Combined Transportation Corridor, demonstrating robust development momentum and strong market potential across various business areas.

In terms of freight organization and shipment, Lianyungang China-Europe (China-Central Asia) Freight Trains have strengthened communication and cooperation with railways, customs, and agent enterprises, not only consolidating the existing freight base but also successfully attracting more transit cargo to be transported through Chinese corridors. Additionally, they have jointly operated international multimodal transport demonstration trains with Korea Railroad Corporation and innovatively launched a new "ro-ro + freight train" multimodal transport mode, achieving remarkable results in the development of premium freight train services. Furthermore, the "Lianyungang-Tashkent" point-to-point direct freight train has successfully passed the provincial premium freight train construction inspection, further enhancing the brand influence and market competitiveness of Lianyungang China-Europe (China-Central Asia) Freight Trains.

Moreover, Lianyungang China-Europe (China-Central Asia) Freight Trains have also made innovative progress in export and return businesses. In terms of exports, based on the stable operation of the Wuxi relay train, they have actively explored new international trade routes and successfully opened a new export channel of "Yancheng-Lianyungang-Central Asia" using the automotive parts resources of Yancheng Yueda Kia. At the same time, they have continuously expanded the scale of rapid railway customs clearance, shortening cargo clearance time and providing customers with a more high-quality and efficient service experience. In terms of return logistics, they have precisely grasped market demand, ensured stable supply of traditional eastbound cargo such as ferroalloys, lead and aluminum ingots, achieved significant growth in the import volume of key goods such as potash fertilizer, urea, and asbestos, and fully leveraged the advantages of the "Lianyungang-Huangpu Port" domestic trade route to carry out transportation of goods such as imported wheat flour and wheat bran granules. These efforts have further optimized the ratio of outbound and return trains, laying a solid foundation for fully completing the annual task indicators.

The construction of an information system is an important means to improve the operational efficiency and service quality of freight trains. Through the construction and application of an information system, Lianyungang China-Europe (China-Central Asia) Freight Trains have achieved real-time monitoring and efficient management of various links such as cargo transportation, warehousing, and loading and unloading, effectively enhancing the transparency and traceability of train operations. This provides strong technological support for jointly building the "Belt and Road" and supporting the development of the Trans-Caspian Corridor.
