Recently, our city released Lianyungang 2026 Goods Trade Promotion Plan (hereinafter referred to as the Plan), which clearly states that enterprises participating in key trade fairs will be provided with subsidies for booth fees, aiming to genuinely reduce the costs for enterprises in exploring international markets.
The list of key trade fairs in the Plan covers 11 major categories and over 150 domestic and international trade fairs. Among them, there are not only key domestic trade fairs such as the East China Import and Export Commodity Fair and the China International Consumer Products Expo, but also high-quality overseas trade fairs including the Jiangsu Export Commodities Fair in Osaka, Japan, the China Export Brand Joint Exhibition in Warsaw, Poland, and the Vietnam International Oil & Gas Exhibition, precisely matching our city’s advantageous industries such as petrochemicals, biomedicine, and new energy.
The Plan guides enterprises to select trade fairs based on their own needs, focusing on expanding into potential markets such as countries involved in the “Belt and Road” Initiative, RCEP member countries, and Russia. It encourages enterprises to participate in trade fairs in groups to enhance their exhibition effectiveness and the brand influence of “Made in Lianyungang”. Meanwhile, the commerce department will also deepen cooperation with domestic and international exhibition organizations to secure high-quality trade fair resources for enterprises and safeguard their exhibition rights and interests.
Yang Shanbo, the head of the Foreign Trade Division of the Municipal Bureau of Commerce, introduced that according to the Plan, our city will provide enterprises participating in key trade fairs included in the 2026 provincial and municipal trade promotion plans with subsidies of up to 70% of the actual booth fees and other expenses incurred. For exhibition projects that have been included in the provincial trade promotion plan and have received provincial-level subsidies, no duplicate subsidies will be provided at the municipal level.
