First New Energy Vehicle Super Charging Station in Lianyungang Will Be Put into Operation

In recent days, a new energy vehicle super charging station is being built in front of Building B of the municipal government and is expected to be completed and put into operation in mid May. After completion, it will become the first single gun 480KW super charging station in our city and also in northern Jiangsu.

It is reported that the charging station is invested and constructed by BAIC Group, with 16 single gun charging stations installed. The charging station adopts a split structure, which can output a maximum voltage of 1000V and a maximum power of 480KW per station, supporting convenient charging of all brands of new energy vehicles.

Super charging, also known as Extreme Speed Charging (XFC), refers to charging the battery from 20% to 80% within 10 minutes, which means adding more than 55 kilowatt hours of battery or 320 kilometers of range within 10 minutes. Super fast charging facilities generally refer to a complete set of charging equipment with a single gun charging power of no less than 350 kilowatts, a maximum output voltage of no less than 1000 volts, and a continuous charging current of no less than 400 amperes.
