Fishermen put the domestic garbage generated during the operation at sea and the plastic garbage cleared at sea in the garbage can, and when they return to the port, they will send the garbage to the garbage station for unified disposal. When distributing trash cans to fishing boats, publicity activities were also organized to send leaflets to fishermen to publicize marine garbage hazards and garbage classification knowledge.

Fishermen are deeply affected by this. Therefore, many people support the idea of taking garbage back to shore for disposal. It is understood that there is a large amount of plastic waste in the sea, which comes from a wide range of sources, mainly including land input, marine aquaculture, fishing and other processes. Marine plastic wastes do great harm to the marine ecological environment. Especially the decomposed micro plastics invade the food chain and ultimately endanger human health.
