"June 26th" International Anti-drug Day Publicity Activity Held in Lianyungang City

On the morning of June 26th, the Municipal Anti-drug Commission held the "June 26th" International Anti-drug Day Publicity Activity and the Award Ceremony of the City's First Anti-drug Original Short Video Competition in the west square of Lianyungang Grand Theater. Li Zhenfeng, member of the Standing Committee of the Municipal Party Committee and Secretary of the Political and Legal Committee, and Xu Dunhu, the vice mayor and director of the Municipal Anti-drug Commission and the Municipal Public Security Bureau, attended the event.

Anti-drug work is related to people's well-being and social harmony and stability. Our city has unswervingly grasped the implementation of various anti-drug measures, comprehensively improved drug control ability, increased anti-drug publicity, widely popularized drug prevention knowledge, spread anti-drug ideas, created a strong atmosphere of "healthy life, green and non-drug environment" in the whole society, as a good way to celebrated the 100th anniversary of the founding of the CPC. In this activity, award-winning certificates and trophies were presented to winners of the anti-drug original short video competition. The letter of appointment of "Young Anti-drug Ambassador in Lianyungang" was awarded to the first prize winner, and anti-drug cycling publicity activities were held. Through photo exhibition, spreading publicity materials, anti-drug knowledge consultation and other means, comprehensive publicity of drug hazards and anti-drug knowledge was carried out, and people of the whole city were encouraged to embrace healthy life, keep away from the harm of drugs. All sectors of society were called on to actively participate in the fight against drugs and work together to promote the new victory of the people's war against drugs. On the same day, counties and districts of Lianyungang also carried out a variety of anti-drug publicity activities, unfolding a vigorous mass campaign against drugs.
