Lianyungang Port Honored as "2019 Asia-Pacific Green Port"

The　reporter　learned　from　the　Port　Holding　Group　on　October　3　that　recently,　on　the　"Digital　Innovation　and　Port　Connectivity　Forum"　hosted　by　the　Asia-Pacific　Port　Service　Organization,　Lianyungang's　subordinate　terminal　enterprise,　Lianyungang　Xinsugang　Terminal,　won　the　honorary　title　of　"2019　Asia-Pacific　Green　Port".

As　the　largest　bulk　cargo　terminal　in　Jiangsu　Province,　the　Ore　Terminal　of　Lianyungang　Xinsugang　Terminal　has　been　built　and　put　into　operation　since　2009.　It　has　been　integrating　the　green　concept　into　wharf　management,　adhered　to　the　concept　of　cleaner　production,　focused　on　dust　control,　and　actively　carried　out　energy-saving　transformation　of　loading　and　unloading　equipment,　purchase　of　environmental　protection　equipment　and　facilities,　and　vigorously　promoted　the　application　of　advanced　energy-saving　and　environmental　protection　technology　with　the　goal　of　comfortable　and　beautiful　port　construction.　Employees'　energy-saving　operation　skills　have　been　upgraded　and　detailed　management　of　energy-saving　and　environmental　protection　has　achieved　good　results.　It　has　the　benchmarking　function　of　leading　the　green　port　construction　of　specialized　dry　bulk　terminal　and　provides　replicable　experience　for　the　green　port　construction　of　specialized　dry　bulk　terminal.
