According to Wang Liangzhou, General Manager of the transportation group of the municipal traffic control group, the construction of the platform and station building will be completed by the end of this month, the decoration and equipment installation and commissioning will be carried out in November, the operation conditions will be met at the beginning of December, and the project will be officially put into operation by the end of December.

One station, one scene, full of cultural characteristics

At 9 o'clock yesterday morning, when the reporter arrived at the Xugou Station of the city railway project, the workers had been working for more than three hours. Looking at the appearance, the rudiments of the Xugou Station building have appeared and there are many scaffolds outside the wall. The station square, bus transfer point, tourist bus distribution point, passenger waiting canopy and other supporting facilities have been completed.

According to the renderings provided by the construction unit, Yantuo Station and Xugou Station are of modern shape, and Lianyun station is of European style. "Each station is constructed by different construction teams. In the case of Xugou Station, marine culture is reflected. Yantuo Station reflects the salt culture and is characterized to be "one station, one scene". Wang Liangzhou introduced that the total length of the city train project is 35.1km, with a total investment of about 660 million yuan. Five passenger stations are set up along the line, including Lianyungang Station, Yantuo Station, East Lianyungang Station, Xugou Station and Lianyun Station. The station buildings along the line are designed in combination with local cultural characteristics. The stations are different and integrate with the surrounding cultural environment. The overall design is simple, elegant, fresh and distinctive, reflecting humanity and the style characteristics of local buildings.

Civil engineering of station building is almost done.

At Lianyungang Station, which is all the way across the old street of Lianyungang, workers are working on the roof construction. Nearby, the elevator closely connected with the station building is under construction. He introduced that Lianyun Station is a new station next to the Longhai Railway Museum. It is planned to open to Lianyungang by the end of November.

In order to ensure that the project will be open to traffic by the end of December, the project department will continue to carry out labor competition activities among all construction units, and encourage all construction units to strive for excellence in completing the construction tasks. After the opening, Shanghai traffic control group will entrust Shanghai Railway Bureau to be responsible for the operation of the city trains, using an independent ticket inspection and sales system, which is common to citizen cards. It is expected that the price will be friendlier to the people.
