Arrival and Departure Volume of Sino-European Trains Exceeds 10,000

Yesterday, more than a hundred X9014 trains loaded with electronic products, mechanical parts, daily necessities and other goods were sent from Sino-Kazakhstan Logistics Base of Lianyungang to Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan. From the crisis of "supply cut-off" at one time to the adverse growth since the resumption of production, Sino-European train of Lianyungang has handed out a brilliant "report": up to now, the volume has exceeded 10,000 vehicles, an increase of 45% over the same period last year, completing the target task in the first half of the year one and a half months ahead of schedule.

Lianyungang port has been focusing on speeding up the efficiency of transit and customs transfer ever since this year with a commitment to promoting the integrated operation of international trains. It has successfully tried the new mode of "bonded + export" cargo container mix and the mode of "express ship, car (station)” for international trains (transit) containers. These two initiatives have been included in the innovation cases of Jiangsu Free Trade Zone.

Innovation is not only reflected in the development of business model, but also in the creation of new formats, the application of new technologies and the development of new products, which further enlarge the advantages of the port block in the free trade area and improve the efficiency of train operation.

With intelligence and IOT as the core, the modern container station management and operation system template is successfully copied to the production management system of Horgos dry port in Kazakhstan. In addition, the two excellent train routes from Lianyungang to Central Asia developed by the port have now formed the full coverage of the main stations in Central Asia. The whole railway transportation from station to station along the "Lianyungang-Kazakhstan-Azerbaijan–Georgia-Turkey" route, and the operation of the new transport channel from Lianyungang to Erenhot Mongolia are stable. Since this year, the port has also actively strengthened the organization of return cargo sources, effectively driven the supply of goods to the east bank, and stabilized the pattern of "taking communication seriously" of international train transportation.
