2018 Lianyungang Rural Tourism Festival Kicks off

  On the morning of March 28th, 2018 Lianyungang Rural Tourism Festival, i.e. the series of events "Floral Haizhou?Flower Appreciation in Four Seasons" were launched at Punan Jirui Garden in Haizhou District.

  In order to give full play to the role of rural tourism in the revitalization strategy of rural area, integrate the rural tourism resources and build the rural tourism brand, a large series of rural tourism events have been carefully planned to provide a wide range of tourist products for the public and tourists, and a rural tourist train has been put into use to connect the rural tourist attractions, with an aim of gaining popularity and bringing profits to promote the fitness of rural tourism.

  It is understood that the city's rural tourism is arranged in accordance with seasonal and product characteristics. People can appreciate flowers in spring, escape summer heat at coastal resort, pick fruit in autumn and experience folk customs in winter. Every county in our city will successively hold Cherry Festival, Lotus Festival, Grape Picking Festival, Sea Fishing Festival as well as other colorful rural tourism activities, which fully demonstrates the rich rural tourism resources and products of our city and continuously promotes the reputation and influence of rural tourism.

  In the future, our city will continue to step up the pace of rural tourism development, take resources integration as the channel, focus on the project construction, actively implement the "Double Ten and Double Hundred Projects" for rural tourism, vigorously promote the construction of star-level rural tourist resorts, stylish tourist towns, home-stays with unique feature and build farm-stay or fishing village guest houses. We should also perfect the infrastructure of rural tourism, improve the administration standards and service level and give full play to the role of rural tourism in promoting agriculture, raising rural living standards, urban and rural co-ordination, employment and poverty alleviation.
