World's Largest Photovoltaic Film Material Project Officially Started in Lianyungang Jiangsu

On September 7, the largest photovoltaic membrane material project in the world officially started construction in Lianyungang Petrochemical Industry Base. After the project is fully completed, it will greatly increase the global market share of high-end photovoltaic materials in China.

Lianyungang PV membrane material project with a total investment of about 21.6 billion yuan will build three sets of PV membrane material devices, one set of high-performance engineering plastic device and one set of high-end polyolefin device. Photovoltaic film material is the core raw material for the production of photovoltaic module packaging adhesive film, and it is also widely used in electronic information, automobile manufacturing, aerospace and other fields.

Through technical breakthrough, we have mastered a full set of independent technologies and achieved stable mass production.

At present, the import rate of photovoltaic film materials in China exceeds 60%. After the project is completed, the annual production capacity of photovoltaic film materials will reach 1 million tons, increasing the global market share by about 20 percentage points, effectively meeting the development needs of China's photovoltaic industry.
