Lianyun Old Street

Lianyun Old Street faces Yuntai Mountain to the south, the Yellow Sea to the north, and the East Island and West Island across the sea. Characterized by being a stone-built street, it is one of the Ten Famous Historical Streets in Jiangsu. Inside it are buildings built during the period of the Republic of China (1912-1949) such as Guochengli buildings cluster, Shanghai Grand Hotel, and Japanese-style residential buildings. The Lianyun Old Street follows the characteristic positioning of "the starting point of Land Bridge, kiln and port, mountain-sea stone city, and the mixture between the East and the West"，for development. In line with the principle of renovating but maintaining its original old-style, we built sea-view hotels and leisure street in the Zhongshan Road, Lianyungang 1933 Style Street in Yuntai Road, Traditional Folk Culture Style Street in Linhai Road, Arts and Crafts Creative Cultural Street in Shengli Road. There are also exhibition halls such as Longhai Railway History Museum, Old Street History Culture Museum, and Port Museum in the Street.
