Wang Shuyou Dripping Vinegar is produced in Banpu town, Haizhou district. Created in 1675 (the 14th year in the reign of Emperor Kangxi of Qing Dynasty), it was named after the a pair of couplet written by Su Shi ( a well-known literature and poet of Song Dynasty) for Wang's Genealogy, which says "Shu Xin Neng Ji Wu, Ybu Dao Zi Sheng Cai" (means that one can get along with the world only in tolerance, and can win the fortune naturally by adhering to his faith). Wang's vinegar has the characteristics of strong acidity, pure taste and delicious fragrance. It only needs a few drops to serve dishes each time, so it is called “dripping vinegar".
