On the morning of February 25th, a group of special guests "flew" to Yunu Peak, the highest peak in Jiangsu Province, located in Huaguo Mountain, Lianyungang. Dressed in elegant attire, Russian ballerina dancers graced the peak at an altitude of 624.4 meters, with the blue sky as their backdrop and the mountains as their scenery, transformed into little swans and danced gracefully. Sun Wukong and his disciples, along with various demons, greeted and interacted with them. They are dancers from the St. Petersburg State Academic Mariinsky Theatre. This event is a deep exploration of our city's initiative to promote tourism through performances, encouraging tourists to "visit Lianyungang City with Performances".

At the scene, the Russian dancers moved gracefully and elegantly, spinning and jumping, their agile figures seemingly blending in with the surrounding landscape. Many tourists took out their phones to take photos and videos. Elizabeth Menshikova, the director of the ballet troupe, said, "We are delighted to be in the beautiful city of Lianyungang, visiting the hometown of Sun Wukong, Huaguo Mountain. We love traditional Chinese clothing, and this interactive performance between Russian ballet and Chinese Journey to the West characters has strengthened cultural exchanges between our two countries."

In recent years, our city has continuously increased its efforts in cultural activities, cultural tourism resource development and promotion, deeply intertwining culture, tourism, and the city's landscape. We have showcased our city once again through a new model of "integration of performances and tourism". From immersive interactive performances based on Journey to the West to the lively music festival on Lian Island, from the festive atmosphere of the Chinese trendy night banquet to the distant echoes of intangible cultural heritage, our city invites tourists to travel with performances, experiencing the unique charm of "the hometown of Sun Wukong, a magical and romantic land of Journey to the West".
