Yesterday marked the commencement of construction on the SG4 contract section of Lianyungang Port's 300,000-tonne channel reconstruction and expansion project. Undertaken by CCCC Guangzhou Dredging Company Ltd., the project involves establishing additional 300,000-tonne oil tanker berths located south of the outer section of Lianyungang Port's outer channel within Anchorage No.6. The construction period is expected to last approximately nine months. Upon completion, the project will significantly enhance the port's comprehensive service capabilities and accelerate the realization of Lianyungang's integrated development strategy of "one body, two wings", marking a pivotal milestone in the port's strategic advancement.
