Yesterday, egrets were observed inhabiting and breeding on Xiaodaoshan Island within the Yuntai Mountain Scenic Area. This green space, dubbed the “Chinese Egret Sanctuary”, now shelters a population exceeding 30,000 birds. The air resonates with their melodious calls, while their wings weave through the trees in a dance reminiscent of a celestial realm.
