Lianyungang Grand Bridge on Lianyungang High-speed Railway is expected to be completed by the end of October

The construction of Lianxu Railway has always attracted the attention of the public. Yesterday, the journalist learned from the Fourth Bureau of China Railway that the Lianyungang Grand Bridge in our city was under intensive construction and the main structure construction was expected to be completed by the end of October.


Yesterday morning, at about 9 o'clock, the author saw at the construction site of Lianyungang Grand Bridge that the workers were carrying out the binding of steel bars in the closing section across the continuous beam of the old 204 National Highway. "The total length of this continuous beam is 113.5 meters." Wu Xiaobing, chairman of the trade union of the second division of the project Department of Lianxu Railway Station, said that 90% of the construction of the lower section of the continuous beam of the bridge had been completed and the tie-up of steel bars in the closure section of pier 54 was under way. It was expected that the main part of the continuous beam across the old 204 National Highway would be completed around August 15.

Lianyungang Grand Bridge starts from Lianyungang Station in the east and connects Donghai Station in the west. It is 35 kilometers long, including 11 continuous beams. At present, it has 6 joints. The main structure construction is expected to be completed by the end of October. Wu Xiaobing introduces that the total mileage of the construction of the second branch is 10.38 kilometers. It covers four villages, namely, Hongmen, Xinlong, Xiahe and Gangbu, which are all bridge sections. At present, 97% of the workload has been completed in pile foundation construction, 80% in cap construction and 70% in pier construction. There are four continuous beams in the pipe section, and two of them have been completed. Continuous beams spanning the old 204 National Highway and the new 204 National Highway are under construction. It is expected that all the lower structures will be completed by the end of August.


The remaining workload is mainly concentrated on Gangbu Farm section. Now the workers work overtime to catch up with the progress, laying the foundation for the follow-up construction of the bridge superstructure and paving and erecting. Wu Xiaobing said that in terms of the overall progress of the project, the borehole design of Lianxu Railway Bridge has been basically completed, with about 95% of the cap design and pier body design completed, about 45% of the prefabricated box girder design completed and 35% of the box girder erection completed.
